In the article, it talks alot about lion populations in the Serengeti and other factors such as eating habits. For the population of lions, they are very territorial and that can have a major effect on the population of all wildlife. The article also tells about how there was once a wide range of West African lion spread from Senegal to Nigeria. However, now, papers reveal that there are only 250 adult lions restricted to four isolated populations and only one of those populations contain more than 50 lions. It goes on talking about how lions are starting to go into the category of extinction and there is something that needs to be done about this issue before all of the lions are extinct.
